The transportation of fuel oil of any type HFO, AGO or PMS, etc. is carried through various methods. It depends on the distance, quantity, and infrastructure available. The common mode of transportation at Maxol are tankers, pipelines, rail, trucks, and barges.
Common modes of transportation for fuel oil:
Tankers:Large-scale transportation of fuel oil, especially HFO, often involves the use of tankers. These are specialized vessels designed to transport bulk quantities of liquid cargo.
Pipelines: For the transportation of fuel oil over land, pipelines are commonly used.
Trucks: Fuel oil can also be transported by road using tanker trucks. This method is commonly used for delivering fuel oil to smaller, remote locations or areas with limited infrastructure.
Barges: In regions with navigable waterways, fuel oil can be transported by barges.
